Quality guarantee of Newport International Study on Hangzhou Boiler

Since the adoption of overall quality management in 1984, the company has established perfect boiler and pressure vessel quality management system and corresponding system document so as to keep normal and effective running of the company. At present, the company has possessed steel seal and authorized certificate for power boiler (S) and pressure vessel (U, U2) issued by American society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), national Class A boiler manufacture license, Class A1+A2 pressure vessel manufacture and design license issued by national quality inspection bureau, and German TÜV ISO 9001 quality management system authentication certificate. For each year the company will accept the internal and external auditing by the second party and third party so as to ensure the continuous effectiveness of the quality management system.

The company has established perfect quality guarantee and supervision system. The quality guarantee department is separated from other departments and is directly controlled by the general manager, and such quality guarantee department is not affected by the production and operation department. The quality guarantee department has set quality management center, inspection department, flaw-detecting center and testing center. The quality management center is the supervision and management center of the company quality management system. The inspection department is mainly responsible for the quality control and product quality inspection during the product manufacture period. The flaw-detecting center is mainly responsible for the product non-destructive testing including ray inspection, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, penetration inspection and eddy flow inspection. The testing center is mainly responsible for measuring management and physical and chemical testing. The flaw-detecting center and testing center have the qualification for undertaking outside testing work. The quality guarantee department has more than 160 employees including 30% employees with middle-class technical titles and 9 senior engineers.

With the advanced testing method, the company has possessed 170 piece/set of important testing equipment including 4-megavolt linear accelerator, 420 KV x-ray detector, γ-ray detector, direct-reading spectrometer and super-high rate stage-microscope; and these equipment can satisfy various testing and inspection requirement so as to ensure the product quality.

The company follows the policy of “Quality first and customer satisfaction” so as to ensure the safety, reliability and suitability of the boiler and pressure vessel to meet the relative standard requirement or exceeding the relative international standard.

The Technical Centre was setup in 1994, and became the first batch that got the Provincial-level Technical Centre of Zhejiang Province. Technical Centre consists of Central Office, Product Development Dept., Standardization Office, Procedure Dept., Metal Material Laboratory, Industrial Boiler Sub-centre, General Equipment Sub-centre, New Century Environmental Protection Energy Sub-centre and etc. Furthermore, the Centre had established long-term cooperation in different forms with international and domestic famous university and research institute, such as Zhejiang University Thermal Power Engineering Research Institute, Xi’an Jiaotong University Boiler Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences Engineering Thermo physics Research Institute, China Jiliang University, which make the contribution for the further development of creation work.

At present, the Technical Centre has 223 R&D technical personnel, including 3 Professor Engineers, 75 Senior Engineers and Masters, 91 Engineers, which are 15% of the total company employees. The heat recovery boiler research institute, belonged to the Centre, who is fully responsible for the national heat recovery boiler industry management, mainly concerning about organizing related research institutes and factories of Metallurgy, Petrochemical, Machinery, Light Industry, Cement and Refuse Disposal industry to carry out heat recovery boiler Industrial standardization, as well as responsible for “scientific and technological information network of national heat recovery boiler and waste heat utilization equipment” and the editing and publishing of the professional publications “Heat Recovery Boiler”. Till now, it had completed 5 related heat recovery boiler National Standards and 14 Industrial Standard’s (JB) amendments. In 2008, our company had drafted and edited 4 national standards, one of them had submitted to Standardization Administration of PRC for approval, and 3 had finalized and experts’ review is undergoing.

Heat Recovery Power Generation for Metallurgic Industry


1、Sintering Machine Heat Recovery Power Generation For HANDAN Steel Mill

This heat recovery power generation project is built for two sets of 360㎡ sintering machine in HANDAN steel mill, it is the first Sintering machine heat recovery power generation in China, general contracted with BOT mode by HBG, equiped with two sets of 68t/h Two-Pressure heat recovery boiler and one set of 25MW steam generator unit. The project has been put into operationin Apr. 2009.

2、Sintering Machine Heat Recovery Power Generation For ANYAN Steel Mill

This heat recovery power generation project in EPC mode is built for one set of 360㎡ and one set of 400㎡sintering machine in ANYANG steel mill, equipped with two units of Two-Pressure heat recovery boilers which is the first in China, and one set of 25MW steam generator unit.Tthe project has been put into operation in Sep. 2008.

3、CDQ Heat Recovery Power Generation For ANYANG Steel Mill
This heat recovery power generation project is general contracted with EPC mode by HBG, equipped with one set of 140t/h and 75t/h Two-Pressure CDQ heat recovery boiler which is a creation in the world, and one set of 15MW and 12MW steam generator unit. The project has been put into operation in Sep. 2009.

4、Sintering Machine Heat Recovery Power Generation For TAIYUAN Steel Mill

This heat recovery power generation project is built in EPC mode for one set of 450㎡ and one set of 600㎡sintering machine in ANYANG steel mill, equipped with two sets of Two-Pressure heat recovery boiler and steam generator unit, among which the heat recovery boiler for 600㎡sintering
machine is the largest in China. The 450㎡project has started operation in Oct. 2009, while the 600㎡project will start operation end of 2009.

1、Low Temperature Cement Kilns Heat Recovery Power Generation For ZHJIANG LEOMAX GROUP

This pure low temperature and pressure heat recovery power generation project is built for 5000t/d cement production line of ZHEJIANG LEOMAX Group, general contracted with EPC mode by HBG, equipped with one set of 9MW steam generator unit. The project has started operation in Sep. 2007.

2、Cement Kilns Heat Recovery Power Generation For KCC Cambodia

This heat recovery power generation project is built for 2500t/d cement production line in KCC Cambodia, general contracted with EPC mode by HBG, there are one set AQC and one set SP heat recovery boiler, one set 4.5 MW steam generator unit, the project have started running in Aug. 2009.
